Hello, we are JJ and Sabrina.
We will be celebrating 25 years of marriage in 2019 and it has been an amazing 25 years. We also raised two boys who have kept us really busy over the years with school and sports and just all kinds of boy fun.
But now that the boys are grown, and out of the house (yes, we’re empty-nesters and are loving every minute of it), JJ and I have a desire to hit the road and travel the US in our RV.
We, as a family, started RVing back in 2011. Our first RV was a 2001 Winnebago Adventurer and though we loved that RV, we had to give it up a few years later because JJ’s job was in doubt and we were afraid he would be laid off so we sold it. We had a lot of fun trips with the boys back then and really hated to sell that RV but sometimes you just have to do what’s best for your family.
Fast forward to early 2016. We had been on a couple of vacations without an RV and every time we went somewhere, we’d say “You know, this would be a great spot to camp”. We were itching to buy another RV and JJ’s job was no longer in doubt so why not?
We bought a 2013 Holiday Rambler and I have to say WE LOVE IT!!
The boys don’t travel with us anymore. They’re too grown for that and besides, they have their own lives to live. So, we travel alone (well not completely alone...our two dogs travel with us) when we can and when our jobs allow. We long to travel full-time though. But not yet!! We have a few things to do first but we WILL do it someday.
A Little About Us
I am JJ and currently I work at a plastic manufacturing plant where I am the IT manager as well as the LEAN Manufacturing manager. I studied at Texas Tech University where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems. Some of my favorite things to do are running, bicycling, hiking, camping, golfing and watching sports of all kinds. I love my Red Raiders, the Texas Rangers and am a Chicago Bears fan.
I am Sabrina and I work for a food distribution and grocery store retailer. I am the Replenishment Buyer for all of the bakery products as well as market cheese. I also graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. I was going to be a teacher but after careful consideration and prayer, I decided against it. Some things I love are camping, hiking, reading and watching my favorite sports which are football and basketball. I also enjoy playing golf with my husband and my friends. I am a huge Texas Tech Red Raider fan.
