New Mexico RV Resort – Angel Fire

Things to Do

  • Campsites are great
  • There's plenty of amenities
  • There's lots to do in the area

  • Can be a little pricey

Angel Fire RV Resort is located on Hwy 64 just south of Eagle Nest, New Mexico and just northwest of the Angel Fire Ski Resort

Angel Fire RV Resort has several camping areas that are priced differently. They range in price from $50 a night starting in November to $80 a night during the peak summer months. For more information on their rates, click here.

Most RV resorts have many rows of campsites lined up next to each other. This one is no exception. However, there is plenty of space between each site.

Each site comes with concrete pads, 50 and 30 amp electrical hookups as well as water and sewage hookups. Also provided is a nice metal picnic table on concrete pad of it's own.

There are no fire pits so you'll have to bring your own.

The concrete pads are level so you don't have to worry too much with leveling blocks.

If you're wanting to tent camp or bring a pop up trailer, sorry, those are not allowed. This resort is available for motor homes, fifth wheels or pull behinds only.

Some of the amenities at Angel Fire RV Resort include laundry facilities, bathroom and shower facilities, a hot tub, a community center, a dog run, a walking track and pickle ball.

Things to do

The resort offers daily activities throughout the summer in the community center. Some activities include Bingo, arts and crafts, evening meals, mini concerts, game night and more.

Outside the resort there is plenty to do in the area. At Angel Fire Resort, summer activities include zip-lining, mountain biking, and disc golf. Of course in the winter snow skiing is available.

Other things to do in the area include shopping at Eagle Nest, Red River or Taos, visiting the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, hiking Wheeler Peak or fishing in Cimarron Canyon State Park
